What is R-Value?

How long will it take to insulate my home?

 

Usually about 30 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the home.

Is the insulation process a messy one?

Our crews upgrade lived-in residences daily and generally the insulation process is not very messy. It may require a small vacuuming after the job is complete.

Do I need to prepare anything for the insulation process?

As a customer all that is necessary is to have the access cleared. Generally the closet where the attic access is located is mandatory.

How much notice is required when it comes to insulating my home?

Usually 2 days is sufficient.

How much insulation is required in my attic?

The current R-Value (Resistance Value) standard for loose fiberglass fill is a minimum of 18.5".
